So, I just ate a USDA Choice ribeye steak, sous vide to 136-degrees, then seared over scorching hot charcoal for a minute per side. Yes, it was awesome. So, what's the purpose of this thread? What does it have to do with politics? Glad you asked (even if you didn't). Good news -- Donald's favorite food is steak. He likes NY strips. I prefer ribeyes, but a good NY strip makes me happy, too. So, we both love steak. Bad news -- he only eats his steaks... WELL DONE!!! :eek6: And... with KETCHUP! :frown2: I was willing to give him a chance, before I learned this. He's a steak murderer. Oh, the horror. So, chime in. Is this forgivable? I think not. CD
When it comes to steaks, the Donald and I are in the same camp. Last night my wife and I went to our favorite restaurant for steaks. When the waiter asked how I wanted my filet cooked I told him "turn up the heat and make it well done".:biggrin5:
Dang! ketchup goes on hamburgers mustard goes on hot dogs steak - walk the steer past the kitchen window and call it good dry martini - stand 10 feet away and whisper 'vermouth' very softly and you don't wear checks with stripes or visa versa.....period. What's wrong with these people?
Dude, first of all, a filet is girl steak. Second, a filet is the last thing you want well done. :frown2: Okay, just kidding on the girl food thing. I like a good quiche. :blush2: CD :biggrin5:
Ketchup on steak..... You've got to be kidding me... Looks like the Whitehouse chef has just been chosen.... Guy Fieri
There are people who would stab you for putting ketchup on a hot dog if you are older than ten. Not me... I'd just give you dirty looks. Now, french fries are another thing. That spicy ketchup should do just fine on some fries. CD
I could douse Sriracha on pretty much anything and be content. As for Donald Trump, I'm kinda not surprised, given all the photographs of him downing fast food. Not that I have anything against fast food; but if I had that kind of money, it'd not be my first choice for a meal.
My wife use to get it well done when we first met. Now she's at med-rare. It's a victory that a man could get a woman to change anything.
The press and SNL had a lot of fun following Bill Clinton around on his jogging forays for the same reason.
