I definitely see your point, that might have made a really good story. They did have a classic in the shop and there were two for the unveiling.
It was really interesting to meet Hunt's son Freddie, he's very friendly and seems to be very keen on MINIs in general. I might add the the person responsible for the design of this car has an R53. (So we know he has good taste - right?:wink![]()

It's a great thing to see a tribute MINI dedicated to the late James Hunt. There have been so many outstanding special editions, both Classic and BMW, and this would be no exception. Hats off to Freddie Hunt and Guild Restoration for developing this car.

Interesting, I like the aggressive scoop, not crazing about the chain link fence in the grill. I wonder if BMW is trying to camouflage the nose or draw more attention to it. :confused5:
