    I must say I am a little put out with MINI. I had a $1000 deposit on my '06 GP almost a year before I got to take delivery. It has been registered every year since then and I plan on keeping it indefinately. Unfortunately they never sent me a notice that previous GP owners would get first crack on generation II.
    Well as I see it there is no harm done as I have the one I want. It would have been nice to add the invitation to my paperwork collection though.

    Don't feel bad, I didn't get the packet either, had to get the number from a friend and show them I owned a GP.

    I do just as I tell my customers. Changed the oil every 5k, and drove it.
