Blake' s R53 has a white top so this is perfect. Sent a PM acknowledging my intent to purchase......don't tell Blake (although he has probably been reading this thread anyway)

In the picture the base color is silver. It only came in 3 colors black, silver and white.

Glad I got my used one years ago for $150.00.

Willing to bet he *needs* $500 for something else. I'm sure he'll find the right sucker willing to overpay in the flea bay.

I actually worked out a deal for another one. but yeah.... someone needs to jump on this.

    1) They don't make them anymore.
    2) They don't make them anymore.
    3) They rarely pop up for sale because people don't know how to take them off without destroying them.

They where welded on to pull the patch plate for the 3rd brake into shape... Its a bit of a crude method, but it works. ;)

Took me a year to find one. Had it resprayed from silver to white, can't even tell it was changed.

Let us know what you sell it for or provide us a link to its post.

I still think $500 is too high.

Since he has a reserve on the item, I seriously doubt that he "needs" to sell it. At $550 and free shipping, while it sounds like a good deal, it is still used, damaged and needs to be repaired [a "dime-sized chip" is NOT a small deal]. If he really "needs" to sell it, he should remove the reserve clause and just [as they say in the movie, Frozen] LET IT GO.
