Hi Wellzy, so you bought an R53. That's great tell us about your new ride. Inquiring minds need to know.

JCW R56 brakes on an R53

 

So I talked to Mike Puskar at Carbotech and there is a rear rotor just for the JCW. Centric JCW rear rotor part number: 120.34113, so it looks like I am not crazy just miss informed.

 

Good to know! The only difference to the rear brakes in the R53 JCW brake kit was different pads. Makes since though that with those monsters on the front, you would need more than a pad upgrade on the rear to keep the bias correct.

Can't wait to hear how it stops with that kit on it!!

 

I'd bet it'll stop on a dime & give you 2 cents change.
