While I can rarely afford the best (read most expensive) wheels, I know enough to run from the cheapest. Just my opinion.

Id stay clear of the T6's.
They are finished similar to the Elbrus I mentioned in our PMs. The clear will not last long I bet.
Silver paint will probably last the longest (on the cheaper ones). Any machined/cleared finish on Breytons, ect will probably be better -
Thanks guys!
I also like these, but would prefer the machined black like the above Tenzo R Type M Version 2
Tenzo R Meister Version 1
matte
charcoal
Tenzo R Meister Version 2
matte
charcoal
Both are available in 17x7.5, which is the fitment I believe I need. -
7.5 is a great width. try for et40-35. keeps it clear from the struts, and especially aftermarket coilovers if they are in your future
-
The top two have a 40mm offset and 5.82" backspacing.
TireRack.com also has the blurb:

I doubt it. et42 down to 38 or even 35 isnt all that aggressive depending on tire size. the tire is what would hit anyway, and there are so many sizes. even the same sizes in different brands can vary a lot
sounds like they are talking more about the arch area though... I dont think there are any small lips at the rear -
Probably just a blurb they have for every wheel/tire. I emailed Tenzo to see if they were going to be selling the Meister V1 or V2 in machined/black. I think those would look really sharp on a MINI in that finish.

Have you checked out the Konig line of wheels? Very popular with the locals. Alta has a good assortment for viewing.

I have looked at some of them including the Feather. I like this style if it wasn't obvious. I'm thinking the machined look rather than the matte black or black would look better.

Mmm . . BBS RG-R diamond black
BBS RD 220
These are for sale second hand. Completely different than any of the above. Good price, though. $400 for the set. Says no curb rash or dents.
(maybe we should change the title of this thread to Jeremy's indecisive wheel shopping for Blu) -

Thank you, sir!
