I liked Continuum a lot more than his previous stuff. Less bubble gum pop, more jazz.
Not a fan of the Hendrix cover, though. He's not on that level yet, and it sounds forced. -
continuum was the turning point in his musical career, cuz he wrote every song and he sang about something that hurt him. but i mean, emotions do make good music lol. i dont think he's on the Hendrix level just yet, but John Mayer is considered one of the best ever. maybe after this new albume Battle Studies, people might say he's on par with Hendrix, though it still a long way.
