Not anymore! Dick, I owe you big time. Seriously. Thanks again man. And everyone, Dick does some very nice paint work. Ship him your shtuff so he can make it look better. Loving the torque on the 15% pulley, and the whine is great too. I ordered colder plugs today, and they're arriving tomorrow. It's so nice to finally do some mods to my car. :cornut:
Oh yes. Just thinking about the extensive list I have scares me. It does end eventually, but it is nice and long. Haha. Also, I decided on a new look for my car. Same stance in mind, but different colors. Might look pretty, might look pretty bad. Haha. We'll wait and see.
And Dick, what were the maintenance upgrades needed? I know I have a few seals leaking oil, anything beyond that?
Nothing much just common replacement stuff thats never been done. Dont forget you have a box-O-crap on my kitchen counter...
Ohhh yes. Oh no! I had forgotten... Is the next run going to be any time soon, or should I plan time to come pick it up?
Sir yes sir. As Dick already knows, today my SC pulley decided to fly off while driving. So fun. This car is starting to drive me mad.
Actually, not exciting at all. There was a metallic *CLING*, the car bogged down a bit, and the battery light came on. I pulled over, my belt was all sorts of a jumbled mess, and a nice man on a bright orange chopper pulled up behind me to give me my SC pulley. Right before he roared off again, he told me "Yeah man, I gotta MINI too. I know how it is" I couldn't help myself from laughing at that.
Another issue. Ever since I got the MINI towed, I've had this strange (And VERY loud now) rubbing sound coming from the rear arches that only intensifies under braking. Any ideas? I checked for clearance, and while it's tight, there is no actual rubbing between wheels/tires and my arch liners. EDIT: Looks like it's my wheel bearings. Also, my top mounts are shot. Also, I need new tires. :mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2:
