Is there a link that I am missing to get that info?
If I vote for one and then come to find that one of the other owners had done extensive mod's, such as last month's winner, I think we would be selling that owner short -
Maybe on this thread the owners of each nominated car could list their mods and possibly one of there "favorite" pictures to go along with it !
I'd be glad to start ! -

I think regardless of the extensive mods...the overall impression of the car is what should count...call it a beauty contest, but that is really what we are voting on here...
A Spade is a Spade
If the Mods done to it are appropriate and enhance the overall appearance of the car regardless of whether its a 10 second car is a mute point.
I'm sure everyone has seen some fugly modified MINI's...
With the right Photography even a non-modified car can be made into a prize winner...
Let the voting tell what the car of the month will be. -

Well, there's lots of months to go before the end... I would hope that cars that don't "win" this month will get nominated again in future months and we get a chance to vote again from the group for that month.
btw, my car was chosen by Nathan as the first "Featured Mini" which was to become the "Mini of the Month" because it was going to be in the next edition of the Alliance magazine, but that went south along with other things, all to turn north again when Nathan launched this endeavor. I don't know about Granger's car and how it was chosen, but I like the idea of a vote as well as a little, you know, something for the effort.
I know some of these cars, especially boo--Pauliekeys has a great car very worthy of being car of the month. -
Since you asked ...
Aaron's was also chosen by me.
While sitting on the porch enjoying a cigar and few fingers of Bourbon one evening I thought about how MetroplexMINI does their Ride of the Month and how it would be both an easier selection and take my predilections of what constitutes a worthy car out of the mix. MM.org is a random drawing of cars owned by members. But with only about 200 to chose from there is good chance a members car will come up in a year. For M/A I felt that would not work as there are just to many people and will only become more of an issue as the site grows. Hence the call for nominations.
And yes, MINIs nominated this month that do not win are eligible to be nominated again. August nominations open July 1. -
Track-Toy wouldn't be able to list all his mods... his engine is essentially hand-built, and if he's putting out 250bhp that's probably low. Seriously, the best description for that car is "violent"... and that the owner is the nicest guy you'll ever know, and a performance driving instructor, is icing. He's also a huge supporter of the Mini community and Mini in general.
That takes NOTHING away from the fine cars above - all excellent in their own rights. -

Having seen Molly up close and personal like I'm voting for her. Plus she is a MINI5280 member so again, I'm voting for her. Not that everyone else doesn't have a stellar MINI but I know Molly, Molly is a friend of mine and frankly the rest ain't no Molly. Trust me when I say a vote for Molly can help to save a cheerleader and of course the world.
Go Molly! -
