Speedo is fine, its the odometer that has issues...
Also looks like the temp gauge is reading a slight bit warm there. -

This is mine. I was half way to my destination on my daily commute when I noticed I was about to turn over 100,000...and couldn't get my camera phone to focus! Took a series of 5 photos all the way up and past 100,000, but couldn't shoot it!!

Wow, 200k that's great
.
My Canadian speced 03 Cooper now has 105,600 or so. Just shy of 90k miles were put on in his first 3 years, doing a 100 mile a day commute, but after moving to St.Louis, I barely put that many miles on a week. My odo. is about to turn over 170,000 kms, the speedo reads kms, that and the Celsius temp. read-out tends to confuse folks down here:lol:

Awesome!
200K is so impressive. Especially since you say that in 200K your MINI has only been to the dealer TWICE? Man, my '04 R50 and now my '07 R56S both must have been built on Fridays. The only real reason I got the '07 R56S is I had so many issues on the R50. And the R50 had only 59K miles on it! My R56S has now been to the dealer more than I care to say from the Cold Start issue, to a broken seat frame (I only weigh 180, c'mon!), to the ECU tripping up and having the whole thing reset. Hey, but I LOVE my MINI just the same and I hope I can drive on to 200K. :yesnod: -
Ha ha thanks guys, and yes Nitrominis - you need a longer driveway!
My wifes classic just turned over 100,000 kilometers!:eek6:

138K on mine - I'm sure I'll have it until 150K at least.
Are those 100K badges actually available? -

Congradulations, I think its the Electric Blue that gets it done. Never drove mine til I retired and they are racking up fast. So far nothing major pushing 100K.

My car was built on a Wednesday, so I hope it will last. That said, the money to fix pretty much any single problem on the car will always be cheaper than a new car, or most quality used cars. So from an accounting aspect, I can keep my car indefinitely. Realistically though, I might be hit with huge successive repair bills.

NEMINI had club grille badges made with him, and the quality is excellent. Well worth the price. But I can't afford 15 of them...
Any other takers?
