omg.
xsmini, you just becamse my new hero lol.
now that i know that MINIs can last just as long as hondas can, i have nothing to worry about.
but i think that by the time my car hits 200k miles, i'll already have another car to make as my daily driver. the mini will be my beloved sacred car that will be carefully driven on a rare basis.
but what am i thinking?
that point in my life will probably be 10 years from now hah. -
This is all great to hear, since I plan to keep my R52 and make it my "Classic."
-
i cant wait until its 2020 and my little Koopa will be all modded up and a true classic like the previous classic is now.

the R50 will be long gone within the next 10 years, sad as it is.
and knwoing that as a fact, ill keep mine forever -
My R52 is a Cooper too.

I met a guy in the store parking lot the other day who told me he has a Mini. It's a small town, so I said that I was surprised I had not seen it around. He told me he keeps it inside and only drives it in nice weather. This car is way too much fun to drive to do that and I can see that you motor with yours.

Seems to me that the whole point of wanting to own a MINI, is to motor a MINI. Not hide it away, and save it for someone else to motor:mad2:

I have just exceeded 100,000 kilometers

(no quite there yet in miles ...) -

Well I have 164,000+K And it's also colder outside of my car, and I can go 100 on farty far, and be legal

Mark, do you have all the speed limits converted in your head or do you have little mph stickers stuck on the speedo?
-
lotsie Club CoordinatorIn my head, on the fly. Lois on the other hand, not so much. We were traveling up to Canada a few years ago, she was driving, and I would have to keep pointing out that 140 was a tad over the limit:lol:
