    Just Purchased-Advice

The Mechanic said don't get one from O'Reillys, said it might be ok for a domestic but get the pump from the MINI dealer as It's going to be spec. but from the dealer it would cost me $165.93 but that my Mechanic can get all the parts cheaper as he has done buisness with them before.

One reason to use the oem part is in this case the water pump is not easy to do. If an aftermarket one fails it is a lot of labor to replace it.
