    This event will be a gathering of Mini Cooper enthusiasts from around the country in the upper peninsula of Michigan, along the shores of Lake Superior. The main elements of the event are:

    1) a cruise day up the Keweenaw Peninsula, where the cars will be treated to a yooper cookout for lunch. The routes for the cruise (of which participants will be given several options on the return trip) is part of the historic national by-way and features hills and winding roads both through the woods and along the Lake Superior shoreline.

    2) Cruise night will feature a Rendezvous party at the historic Continental Fire Co. in Houghton.

    3) on Saturday is the popular annual Keweenaw Brewfest, featuring over 50 micro-breweries.

    Man I love the Yooper & the Keweenaw especially. What a beautiful slice of God's country. I've been up there many times but it has been a while. Love all the back roads, but unfortunately most of them are not paved. Wonder if I can go & stick to paved roads? Maybe time to head on up again. :smile5:

    I love it up there. Only the last time no mater where we went, how far out we hiked, we could get away from the harleys.
