The site Kilometer Magazine has posted new spy shots of the upcoming 2013 MINI Coupe that has lost more of its swirly camouflage. Visit Kilometer Magazine: Spy Photos: 2013 Mini Cooper Coupe Sheds More Camo for more images. Source - Kilometer Magazine
Glad to see the photos of the JCW. The black one just wasn't cutting it for me. At one time I was hot for one of these...it's cooled down to luke warm until I see one without camo. The prototype blue with silver hardhat looked much more flowing in overall design. The jury is still out
Yes better.... But something just doesn't look right with the rear quarter panels...looks like the fender well is too low compared to the front. Like the wheel needs to be up in the fender more, not like their dangling....
I'm still undecided on this, some photos I want to buy the car right now, others make me not want to even look at it. Just have to wait and see I guess, hate doing that. Anybody know the time frame for sales, have read several different dates.
Yeah... It's kind of strange, when the "Twins" first hit the scene, I thought the coupe looked fantastic. Now... Not so much. Maybe the early models were lowered or something. Any more, I'm pretty happy with my hardtop. So who knows, when they finally start showing up on the streets with the JCW package, maybe I'll change my mind.
Exactly the way I felt and that's a good point about them being lowered, which I think the show cars were. Haven't seen a Mini yet that didn't benefit style wise from a bit of a drop. ...and for that graphics package being available, you'll need to order the UAS instead of the JCW package...lol
With the new 2011 taillights, backup lights moved to the bumper. In a regular 2011 MCS bumper, there are rear fog and backup on both sides (in the bumper). However with a 2011 JCW Aerokit, rear fog is on one side and backup light on the other. If the car doesn't have the rear fog option, then it gets backup lights on both sides in the bumper.
