    I drive a 2011 Mini Cooper.

I always let it warm up for a few minutes before driving.

Once I get to my destination and turn off the car I can hear what sounds like knocking from the rear of the vehicle. Couldn't find anything online except to make sure the coolant level is where it's supposed to be. All of the fluids are at normal levels.

Has anyone had any experience with this issue?

    Thanks in advanced!

From the rear? Maybe an exhaust hanger is loose or broken.

If it kind of a ticking, pinging sound it's the hot metal in the exhaust system cooling down. Metal expands and contract w/temperature so, yea, the metal moves and it's most evident in cold weather.
