Suspension Brakes 1st Gen Koni Yellow sleeve size

    so i just put on some koni yellows onto my 04 mcs and i need to widen the metal sleeve that came with the stock set up. does anyone know what bit size i need to use so that the stock metal sleeve will fit the koni's?

    I'm confused with your question. You shouldn't need to do any modification to the stock mounting points to install Koni Yellows. Did you get the correct Koni's for your model year?

    Also, can you post a picture of the part you want to enlarge? By chance, is it the metal spacer sleeve that accepts the shaft with the lock nut at the top of the damper shaft?

    I think its 12mm that you need to bump it out to. Been so long since ive done it though...

    And yes, i imagine its the metal spacer sleeve and top washer he is talking about.

    Just did mine. Sleeve comes with the struts. Need to drill upper plates. Only on the rear struts.
