Hey Lee, maybe you could clean things up & use some loctite 620 stud & bearing mount to hold it in place. Better living through chemistry. Worth a try & a whole lot less expensive that Colin's coils. But if you are flush with cash I understand they are the way to go.

I love Colin’s coilovers. That’s what Mark put on the Helmet. No coilovers for the R53. I called Koni to see what they thought. The guy I talked to said if it kale unscrewed it would lose its gas charge. So I guess I am stuck replacing it. I think it’s probably best to do it in pairs. Not trying to be cheep but it needs new tires and I planed to get some better rims at the same time. This eats into that budget.
