    Not the 700's .. just the 710's. They're great.

Yup. Good, durable track tire. I would recommend them for the track-day junkey. If you are racing for tenths of a second, and money is no object, the Hoosiers are probably a bit faster. With the V700s you won't be buying new tires every weekend as well.

If you can run 15s, tirerack has a close out on the 205/50/15s. I got 4 coming to the house now. I expect them to be faster than 225/45/15 NT-01s and last 3 DE weekends - same as NT-01s.

They are also having the close out on some 17's. That's what I am considering.

V700s mounted and balanced, and loaded in the MINI. Off to TWS tomorrow. Mine had 5009 date code - fiftieth week of 2009.

I plan on changing tires Friday night at the track and scuffing them up good. Then tiptoeing the first session Saturday. Second session they should be good to go.

I just went to check these out and just noticed the 710W tires... R-Comps specifically cut for the wet. Very nice!

The price on 215x45x17 on the 700 was $105/tire... not bad for DOT-R tires!
