Sadly, there is always a first and last to die. I'm not sure they would want to be identified as such and it is hard for the family to know it. RIP Specialist.
I agree but with the withdrawal the gov't is trying to tell the American people that the hostilities are over but we still have a lot fo Americans there, to include military types that the gov't may not admit to
Always that way, as a troop presence is still needed, but the folks back home don't want to hear it. Back in 1972 the 7/17 Cav was brought home, but it was only the colors that left country. All the men became H /10th Cav. The job still needs to be finished.
