Some video of the aftermath 24 Heures du Mans : L'énorme accident de l'Audi N.1 de Loïc Duval sorti indemne - Vidéo 24Heures du Mans - WEC - Video Eurosport
I've been searching for good news (or even bad) about Duval's condition. For awhile they were saying he was alert and responsive, since then pretty much nothing. Lack of update seems a bit ominous. Meanwhile, Audi are building a replacement car using a replacement chassis and there's been talk of potentially calling up the reserve driver.
From Audi: They're working feverishly to get the new chassis ready for the imminent qualifying session.
Glad to know he's OK. In other news, there's a "slow zone" for this year? [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtseGcIX6WM"]Le Mans 2014 Slow Zone Explained - YouTube[/ame]
I agree. But as the guy stated near the end, there will probably be issues and reasons, good and bad, for tempers to flare. They need to police it well and I see potential for circumstances filled with unintended consequences. Even so, a good idea.
Live timing and scoring here for anyone interested. They're a bit past the half way point in the first qualifying session at the moment.

I think this is sort of interesting. Looks like the headlights are at the back and the lights at the front are there mostly to indicate where the nose of the car is.
Just a few years ago in a crash like that the driver would not have walked away like he did. Thumbs up to the engineers who designed that baby.
This just happened to the new chassis Audi #1. Not much fun so far for the Audi mechanics and the race doesn't start until Saturday.
