Comcast programming in this area, really sucked for watching the race, I read late but not TV late. 11PM on FS1, I guess I will wait for reruns. Hell the local paper did not even publish results. Sickening. :cryin:

There was uninterupted live streaming coverage on YouTube. The picture wasn't perfect, but still quite watchable. I think it may have also been on Fox Sports Go. The reality is that these days none of the networks are willing to commit to broadcasting for the full 24 hours.

 

Is Fox Sports Go a phone app or something?

one of the good things from Rally Mexico was meeting Gustavo, He works for Prodrive(lucky bugger) so he gets to go to the events with Mini and Aston Martin which means he will be a Le Mans Am I Jealous..........you decide. I will make it to Le Mans one day

That was a sad loss for the Corvette team. When he banged wheels with the Aston I figured he'd be lucky if he got away with no damage. The Corvette needs retractable valve stems. Good hard racing for the win by Aston & Corvette. :arf:

 

Still, to be only a second apart on the last few laps of a 24 hour race is absolutely incredible!

 

^^^^ That is the really incredible thing, and most people don't realize how much it is a high speed circuit.

 

What a ridiculous thing to disqualify a car for. I feel for this team. They seem to have used my method of starting an MG with a wonky starter. Long dowel rod & a knock off hammer. Whack & your good to go. I never was disqualified when I did it. My method also worked on SU fuel pumps.

 

I used to have to crawl under my MGB and whack the fuel pump with a wrench, and it always worked.
