Maybe harsh, but they cheated to save time and tried to cover it up (haha, literally). It's all documented. Suppose it was reviewed and then allowed. How would the other teams feel?

Read the full article ^ and you'll see the guy who gave the thumbs-up was fined.
I assume that was because of unauthorized interaction (?), not because of the unfortunate result for Kobayashi and his Toyota. Someone help me out, is that ridiculous (as it seems to me) or is it just unacceptable for someone on pit lane to interact with another crew?

My .02 worth is some of the regs are just flat out ridiculous. Never been to a race where the teams weren't pushing the rules for the so called unfair advantage. The punishment did not fit the crime. Off with their heads says the ACO.

It makes absolute sense, and the result is exactly what the rule is there for - someone dressed in similar clothing gives you the go sign and you pull out into traffic and wreck two cars? That could happen too......
I see their point completely.
On the surface it seems completely innocent, but what if it wasn't? -

I see the post from a couple days ago, providing an overview of my trip to the 24 Hours didn't show up in here for some reason. No surprise I guess from an iPhone. I'll have to wait a couple of weeks until after I get back home and back to my computer to give a better and more thorough rendering of the experience. Anyhow, it was a fantastic experience and one I'll never forget! Every element of attending was as much or more than I had expected! Congratulations to the Scuderia Corsa Ferrari for their third place finish after having won in 2016.
More to come... Jon -

The full race is available on YouTube. It's broken up into roughly one hour chunks.
You know, if you have around 24 hours to spare.

Lol - was really interesting to see how many dropped to P2.
Firebro17 - sorry the post somehow didn't show up from before.. needless to say I will be fixing that soon, once we get through these site stability issues. The plan is to move to a new platform. That said, working on stabilizing the one we have as that will take at least a month. The mobile will be much easier. -

I'm sure it'll all get sorted out. Justa shame the picture sizing thing is an issue. Theres a few cool things to share, but it's not worth the hassle.

The photo upload won't work here in the thread. Though I did have success in uploading a photo of my XKR to my personal photo album. Not sure why there should be a difference, but there clearly is...
