Post-tech version of the Blackmore Spotter Guide now avail here. I don't know what might have changed other than the Aston art car but there you go.
As usual I will be watching these guys.... and wishing I could afford that Z06 C7-R Edition on the left. Hopefully they'll have a better showing this year. If they keep restricting the intake size pretty soon they'll be sucking air through a soda straw. Can't be having those crude, outdated, pushrod small-blocks making too much horsepower can we?

I know what you are saying. The new Z06 convertible is seriously calling my name. It's great to have an American manufacturer fully sponsoring a 24 hour team.
There are 3 quali/practice sessions, the 2nd is about to start (1pm E ... I think). I would think teams would take their time to work into the groove before going all out for the sort of impressive times posted by Porsche in the first practice session, but there's a reason they went all out so early. There were predictions of rain for the 2nd and 3rd sessions so they wanted to bank some good dry track times just in case there wouldn't be any more opportunities. Now they're predicting the track may stay mostly dry for at least the bulk of the 2 remaining sessions so there may be some additional impressive runs rather than just 4 hours of wet track practice and likely carnage. :fingerscrossed:

Live timing for qualifying appears to be cumulative. That is (if I'm reading it right) the ranking and best times carry over from one session to the next as though there wasn't a break.

Yup, the Corvette boys have already said they're 1) happy to see another big American manufacturer coming out to play and 2) looking forward to kicking their butts.
