Seven Cars Moved to Rear of LMP, GTE Grids at Le Mans (sportscar365.com) Here's the revised starting grid. (hint: it's upside down...P1 / row 1 at the bottom)
TV and streaming options: How To Watch (And Stream) The 24 Hours Of Le Mans Be sure to click through to Reilly Brennan's page if you're interested in other streaming options (in addition to another explanation of the rest of the info). I have a Roku so I'm hoping the DailyMotion/Roku option works. :fingerscrossed:
Watching live stream at the moment via livetv.sx . Requires registration but it's free. Stream is consistent, though not high resolution.
A short clip from the start of the race. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hI4Nt3InRFk"]Replay of 24 Heures du Mans Race Start - YouTube[/ame]
I have a cousin who asked me to stop sending interesting rally onboard video links to her because she suffers mildly from motion sickness and every one of them was setting it off.
I'll bet that going forward they'll have a spare chassis on site. I'm waiting for the first TV segment to start on FOXS1 at 1900. Darn satellite internet is not good for streaming. The only disadvantage to living out in the boonies.
I think it's fascinating that after 7 hours there are 6 cars, 3 Porches and 3 Audis, on the lead lap. The Toyotas don't have the same speed but they're 7th & 8th a few laps down. Apparently the Nissans, missing their hybrid power, are on about 500-550hp rather than the 1200 or so peak they should have. I'd call that a significant deficit.
On the plus side, they have plenty of spares for the #64. That's a mighty reach for a silver lining, eh?
Fox Sports 1 is running live Lemans right now due to a rain delay on the Truck race. Current time 8:15PM, Denver. Pretty cool night action. Don
I don't have cable or satellite TV, so I am looking at Lemans live timing. I can't see anything, other than who is first, second, and so on. I have to admit to a bias. My last three cars have been Audis. I love my current MINI, but MINI isn't racing at Lemans, so I'm an Audi fan this weekend. CD
One option if you like this sort of thing (I do) is listen to Radio Le Mans: http://direct.sharp-stream.com/radioshow.mp3 Also, the Nismo youtube channel has some pretty good stuff including a better (in some ways) live timing screen that also happens to have Radio Le Mans audio. If you go there, click the boxes at the top for different views, though at the moment both of their remaining cars are in the pits for some reason so no currently active onboards: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyrcKvv-4pE"]Le Mans 24 Hour 2015 - LIVE NISMO STREAM! #GTRLeMans #LM24 #24LM - YouTube[/ame] If you're an Audi fan, you won't see this as good news. About a half hour ago (?) the #7 hit the pits because a big chunk of the rear body work ripped off.
Dang, I've got to get some sleep! Been enjoying watching and listening to the Vette for way too long tonight.
