A few times after it has rained there has been a small amount of water on my passenger side floorboard. This last week the Mini sat at the airport for 3 days. Durning those three days it rained hard most of the time. I thought I would come back to a flooded car. But not a drop, it was bone dry. Today it has rained but nothing like it had been. Just now when I went to go to the store there was water sitting on my passenger side floormat. Just like at the airport it is not under anything and is on flat ground.

    Any ideas?

A/C condensation? This happened to a friend of mine. Some mice moved into the dash of his jeep. I guess the condensation tube was in their way, so they chewed right through the middle of it. They also made the owner's manual into a nice bed.

No sunroof, I wish I had one. No mice, I don't see any tubes or hoses out of place. I did think this morning the only difference is it sat at the airport and now I am driving it. But this happened when it was sitting. We may get a short brake in the ran today I plan on hunting around Under the hood if we do.

My first thought was AC condensation, too. I've had that happen on other cars, and it does exactly what you described.
