I've had a spontaneous rough idle for a while. It didn't go away after porting the head (thought perhaps a gasket was leaking), and seems to have gotten more violent after getting tuned a couple of weeks ago. The car has now stalled on me a couple of times. I finally got the wideband back in and it is going lean randomly on idle and sometimes while accelerating, especially at the start of the day when cold.

It's been suggested that the O2 sensor may be going, and it will definitely be replaced, but I'd love to hear if anyone else has experienced this or has other suggestions on what to check?

ME?? total dummy here...!! but the O2 can cause the a/f to go nutz!! BUT, normally the engine lite will come on, and direct you to the O2 !!

I would suggest that you go BACK to your tuner and see why after a tune the issue wasnt resolved and why you still have issues?? yes??

    Merry Christmas..
