Aye......up here in Avon we got about 6 inches. Another 3 or so due overnight. The MINI is sulking in the garage whilst we tool around in the 4Runner. ....Les
snow = snow day! here in the PNW. Honestly a 1/2 inch shuts things down. Not that I'm complaining, I settle in with the fire and read a good book.
:arf:Snow. Yeah I think that we got some of that a couple of years ago. I'd be happy to trade you guys actual melting pavement in Jul/Aug for some snow in Dec/Jan. Oh and send some people down here who can actually drive in it.:ihih: Jason
The MINIs sitting in about eight inches here up in the mountains in central PA. Luckily i was able to drive up here in about five inches of it!
I guess progress on the building project is on hold? :frown5: I'm thinking about one for next next summer (after scraping ice off the windshield for two days), I will go with a prefab type. Haul it in and set it down. Jim
The foundation is in, and all the excavation work is done, most of the rock is in place waiting for a warm day. The building is going up this week, they can work in the snow. Once that is up (takes 2 days), the pad inside the garage can be poured as they can heat the building, but the driveway will have to wait till we get back in the upper 30's. Mark
Good to hear it is still progressing. Are the two MINI's still talking to you after a winter outside? Jim
Sometimes being a snowbird is tough sledding. Glad you are OK. Todays weather shows a storm with freezing rain in the south tonight. Hope you are past there by now. Be careful my snowbird friend.
Dallas has declared that Snowforce 1 will be out and about...All 20 Sand Trucks will be treating the Dallas area roads. Yes I did say there are only 20 trucks capable of treating the roads here. We have lots of bridges and overpasses. Stay tuned to Dallas area TV for views of automotive carnage.
In Atlanta and getting out of here early heading back to Columbus. It's going to snow 3" here and the city is going nuts. I'm getting north of the Mason -Dixon line where cooler heads prevail. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
Of course it is safer driving north of the M/D line. It sounds like everyone stores their cars away for the winter, so how bad can it be? :cornut: Jim
:mad2amn Global Warming and my Big Fat Mouth. We've got 3-4in and it's still snowing. We still need y'all to send those snow driver instructors though.Central/north Texas needs them desperately.:frown2: Jason
