    Fancy meeting you here Mark.
MINI5280 is having a group clean this weekend - a mass orgy of suds, clay and Banana Gloss.
    Watch for the pictures.

Yet another thread to waste precious time that I could be using to detail my car.

Nothing like a clean MINI, but better yet, a well detailed MINI is easier to get clean after it has been out playing in the muck:p

My MINI *was* clean til yesterday, when SOMEONE went for a drive down a dusty road in the rain. :skep:

It rained again today anyway, so whatever I guess...

And I really really really need to polish.

I left my MINI in the airport parking garage until Friday. Bet it's trashed by the time I get back. Good thing we got the Group Clean on Saturday.

Now Mel ... who would have driven your MINI on a dirt road in the first place?

So are we posting pics of freshly detailed cars or what?!

These are from last summer. Don't mind the ugly green numbers - they were for an HPDE and are now gone...

Yeah... I drove Blimey back 5 hours mostly in the rain from MOTD on Sunday. Then parked it in the airport garage. Where they're doing a massive construction project. He was NASTY when I picked him up today. No time to wash... and off and on rain here for the rest of the week anyway... and he was SOOOOO clean and pretty for the car show last Friday...

After my run down to Schomp for the day, my MINI needs the Group Clean.

I will bring my touch up paint DS and clear, I will clean and wax around the touch up.

Yes Chuck, your MINI will be the pits when you get back, I hope you found a spot on the inside rows. :p

Having spent half my adult life at the airport I know the tricks.
Find a spot on the inside by a pillar, back-in tight to the line and come up with a funny limerick to remember where you parked.
Paul - some pics of the car show would be appropriate here.

You know what? I took ZERO pics at the car show. Zero. Epic Fail. I got back from a drive 40 minutes before the show started and was in hyper-rush mode to get the car washed, dried, Hydro'd, Nero'd, vac'd, all the crap hidden, and parked on the field... then I realized I forgot my show sign and had to hike up the mountain to my cabin to get it... then I had to go to MOTD registration to pickup my T-shirts... then my kid wanted ice cream... we got back and the show was OVER...

Though I know a lot of folks took lots of car show pics and a lot were taken of Blimey... hopefully some will materialize...

Those MINIs would look better if you'd take the vinyl fence and wheel decals off the doors.

I mean, who the 'ell puts a picture of a stool on their door? You're a fruitcake.

Firstly, that's a vinyl decal of a wood fence:rolleyes5:. Secondly, that stool decal is a one of a kind:arf:. Thirdly, I think of myself as more of a fruitpie:crazy:

Someone who apparently prefers my R50 to his own R56 :eek:ut:

I have exactly one patient today. Part of me wants to go home and give Clara a bath. Another part of me knows it's supposed to rain tonight. A third part of me thinks it would get me fired.

So I guess I'll have to hang out here all day.
