Let me tell you all a story...
10 years ago, when I stayed at Fontana for the 1st time, I was alone in my cabin with nothing to do. I was there early, and didn't know the area and so was a little hesitant to venture out on my own.
I decided to whip up some spaghetti sauce and make some pasta for my dinner. I then thought Why not make some extra and see who shows up.
Mind you, I didn't know a soul back then.
So, I cooked all day, and then made a sign out of a white garbage bag with red Magic Marker lettering. It read FREE SPAGHETTI DINNER 6PM. I taped it to the front porch railing.
6 o'clock rolls around and there's a knock at my door. I open the door, and there stands a skinny blond guy with several other people.
"Hi, I'm Chad" says the blond. "We're here for the free spaghetti dinner".
I don't remember who the other folks were (Chad, do you?), but we happily ate together, and a friendship,and a tradition, was born.
