I wanted to be the first one to respond to your request so I'll post quickly
then I'll modify the post when I have time this evening.

I have a 2007 MCS Cabrio named DILLIGAD and it too is a veteran of several
    MINI events such as MOTD6, MTTS - Miami 2008, MSSD 2008, MOTD7.

Here is a picture of our MINI on the Dragon with some friends in close pursuit.

    [IMG][IMG]

Currently there are very few mods:
    JCW CAI
Realistic Eyes under the bonnet (Rogue MINI's)
    iPod interface
    Glove box organizer
    OEM wind-deflector
    Aero kit frontend w/blackout kit
    Outmotoring red anodized towhook
Rally lights with six switch panel control (thanks to Ian)
    Boot Stripes (installed by me)
Motorized windup key (for special occasions only)

As for engine mods, I am waiting for the end of my warranty so that I can get RMW'd :arf:

Mishka, what exhaust are you thinking of getting? I put a Megan cat back on Poco a couple of months back, when Waylan was here. Love the sound, and works great with Way's intake:cornut:

I'm looking at getting the Megan. I got to hear one in person at the Dragon and I'm pretty well sold on it. Now I just need to restore my "Mod Money".

Here's me (Amy) and my '07 MCCa, Alice this past winter on a club run--some of us had gotten separated at a turn, so we all pulled over while the "search party" went out :D

Will the Megan fit on a Cooper cabrio? When I was getting ready to buy mine the only one that would fit without custom pipe bending was the one from the JCW sound kit.

Here's mine, d'Mini, on a club run. He's a 3/06 build and has an H-sport 19mm swaybar and a Way Motor Works 15% pulley, both installed by Way at the last 2 MOTDs.

It'll fit, but you'll need to either do some pipe bending or you can add some spacers to clear some braces under the car.

Thanks, make those black with chrome edge stripes. I think nightfire red is one of the best colors Mini has ever had.

This is INTENSE, my car, my other love and passion!
He's a 2006 MCS Cabrio. I've spent the last 3 years researching, swapping and adding parts.

I have never had this much fun with a car or with a community. Not only has owning the car and modding it been fun, getting to know the people that are as passionate about the car as me has been a blast!

So, not as much go-fast as Intense, and not as many trophies as Matilda... but here's Blimey....

    2006 MCSa Convertible
Cool Blue w/ Blue top and Gravity Blue leather
    53,000 glorious miles

More mods than I could ever list here... so they have their own webpage...
    About BlimeyCabrio

    Here's the cheat-sheet:

Never ever never thought I'd love a car as much as I love this one... and never thought I'd get the mod bug this bad... so never say never.

Blimey started off with mostly aesthetic and convenience mods and a few go-fast things, and going for an over-the-top Union Jack "clown car" aesthetic... lately he's been concentrating on adding more performance with a more aggressive look. The UJ's are still there, but they're becoming more subtle...

As these photos show... the "Cool" thing about Cool Blue is that it changes colors depending on the light... Sometimes lighter blue, sometimes darker blue, sometimes almost purple.

Here is mine. Regular 07/04 build MCc. The pic is a few years old, but he still looks the same except with different rims and a few scratches on the hood which I no longer obsess over. 46k on the odometer. Likes to go through rubber every 5-6 thousand miles and an occasional unsuspecting MCS at various AutoX events. He is called Egguinn, but everyone who knows him refers to him as The Pimp.

Alice would look great with some chrome accents. I had the factory black w/white pin bonnet stripes on Gromit and kept thinking the white didn't go with anything else on my MINI. I switched to the black w/chrome and it made a huge difference. (My wife even said it was a big improvement.)

BTW: NFR is my second favorite color and does look better on a cabrio.

yeah, so far she only has chrome all on the inside. there are chrome mirrors, but thats about it on the exterior. i just need to get rid of the white stripes, since its a black top....(although it looks great top down)

i also like the side stripes some of you have. they look fantastic! it adds a nice touch
