Nice try. It was way too hot for shrinkage. Sometimes you just have to sigh and say to yourself, "It is what it is".....

 

The pictures that Mr Jim posted: The first one is wmwny (Jeff) and putterfarm (Mark), Second is rum4 (Rick).

 

I've owned several ground-pounding V8s and a bunch of 4-cylinder coupes and roadsters, and I always think it's more fun to drive a slower car fast than a faster car slow (except on a track like Road America with long straights).

 

I talked to Tiger while he was having a little mod done on vender row, that is one sweet Coupe.

 

Wonder if he was across the yellow line and had a close encounter with a vehicle going the other way?

Should be some vid of it somewhere in this years "embarrass" file....

 

We are home. Had a great time and looking forward to next year.

 

Ah, that did not occur to me! doing some of that NASCAR fender rubbin' I guess, or whatever they do that's called racing...

I was going to do the midnight run, then backed out at the last minute..

 

back home yesterday about 2- traffic was thick all the way home (but running nice :wink Great time as always, thanks to Nathan, Snooter, Chad(DT), WMW, Helix and all the others that put up with everyone's crap while they are there trying to have a great time themselves, Great Job!

sorry to say I slept thru this years's Donut Run (too much 'shine the night before :arf s'all good had biscuit n gravy cereal in the Lodge instead

 

The GPII did have a GoPro camera mounted on the dash but I don't think he will be posting up the footage. :nonod::mad2::nonod::mad2:

 

Made it home this afternoon. Just got back from having a couple of Margaritas to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Had a strange encounter on the way from Hendersonville to Fontana Saturday morning. Didn't look like Bruce Wayne driving though.

 

I left Sunday @ 6 AM and stopped only twice and got home in PA (West Chester) at 4:15 PM Sunday to catch the last 20 laps of Talladega.

 

So, not knowing the participants (I do), you are able to conclude guilt? Bet you are a hoot and a real timesaver on a jury

 

Some people I wouldn't even give the chance to go to court... The Aurora theater shooter, would have been splattered all over his car where they caught him for instance.
But when I can I will give people the benefit of doubt. Nobody hurt, I trust he has insurance to cover the cost to the other car... Live and learn, let it be a reminder of what can happen.

 

Kind of like the Veyron and the Pelican....
