    I'm leaving Pittsburgh around 4:30 AM Monday with my Group 4 Autosport track car and a bunch of equipment (well as much as you can cram in a MINI anyway). Be there Monday evening along with the PittstopMINI club folks.

    Monday - I'm here. Here being Fontana Village.

    It's wet! Rained all the way across the Cherahola Skyway and once above 3'K I was in a cloud. At times the visibility was barely beyond the bonnet. Made for an interesting drive.

    Gas at the Texaco in Robbinsville was 3.19, fill up someplace else if you can. Paid 2.89 for Shell in Sweetwater.

    Haven't seen any other MINIs yet.

    Off to the Crossroads of Time for lunch and mildly spirited drive on Hellbender.

    As to those G4 updates, haven't seen the parts yet. I've been busy with stuffing swag bags and watching Chad take apart a rear suspension.

    Enough from me, time for a drive.

    I got to Fontana about 12:30 today. Unloaded and went to Deals Gap for lunch. We ran the Dragon and Hell Bender in the rain. The rock slide is beyond where we normally turn around. The sun was out at the end of the Dragon, but it is still raining in Fontana. The two cops on the Dragon were sitting still and weren’t looking to write tickets.

    Sorry to report there has been a MINI causulty. Driver is OK, brusied shins. Slid off Hellbender. The car from what has been said in not in such great shape.

    Raining like hell now with a bit hail, pics are going to have to wait.

    Remeber folks, drive carefully...

    Sigh. Hellbender kills MINIs. Especially when wet. Or dark. Or both. And it's not even officially MOTD yet.
