From what I can tell, the 205/60/15's should fit, they are close in diameter and the same width as the 205/55/16 I had installed on mine.
I have trouble believing the tires on it are chosen with any particular care, though they are Continentals. Odds are good that the place put on whatever fit and was on hand.
↑Very true↑ I used to work part time at a used tire place. The small time used car lots love used tires. There was one in particular I remeber who didn't even care if all the tires on a car were the same size.
I feel bad now, because I looked more closely & all the tires on the MINI are matched Goodyear Eagle LS. Odds are, though, that the car came to the seller with them.
