Hopefully Barry or someone else will do something vile soon. We're on a roll, and if we don't pile-on on a frequent enough basis, our skills slip. None of us really want that.

OK... the typo is funny, but it does appear that Barry came through with the goods. We should give him and the co-sponsor of the gift some credit and not bash too hard until the facts are known.
I too find the typo to be funny/indicative of my interactions w/ Barry, but let's hold off on bashing someone who gave to charity until we can find out what really happened, please.
I thought this was supposed to be the 'nice' MINI forum.

Good news! The exhaust was delivered about an hour and a half ago per FedEx.
The comments on this thread have been insightful. I think I understand why Barry is so angry with me: it's the difference between literally and figuratively. When he promised to ship the exhaust as soon as he returned home, I took that comment literally and he meant it more figuratively. I assume that to Barry 99 days later than promised [to me] for whatever reason is close enough to be a check in the win column.
I wish he and his family all the best. I am genuinely empathetic to him as a human being for the challenges he faces. As a business owner, not so much when his business practices adversely affect The MINI Skirts' reputation and integrity in the MINI community.
With that, all said. All done. All gone.

I am very humbled by this thread - The MINI Skirts strive to always do good but that is because we are surrounded by like minded people who take the MINI community spirit of helping each other out very literally - thanks to all who responded - I'm proud to be associated with the MINI Skirts and the rest of you MINIacs - your willingness to ante up and help Gigi and the MINI Skirts is not only generous it is as Gigi would say "Awe-mazing" - Thanks for a bright spot in my day!

My thanks to everyone who reached out to Barry to contact me. I received an email from him with the FedEx tracking number of the exhaust shipment. Unfortunately, there is a typo in the number he provided (it's missing a digit) so I am unable to track the progress and delivery of the shipment.
I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of support that I received here, through social media, and PMs. Thank you all for your love and support of The MINI Skirts!-
