Seems sad but mine has done it for the last 4 years. Solution was small piece of craft foam jammed under the latch inside the glovebox. I could glue it in but it generally stays.
But.....I have heard of people using cabinet style magnets and gluing them to the box and the dash this helps when you hit bumps , acts like an additional lock if you will.
