2nd Gen R56 Cooper S Loose Hubs?

    Back from dealership- they replaced the hex nut (once it's off, you're not supposed to use them again).
    They said the tech said everything else looked good.
    Why did it come loose? Still don't know.

    But at least it's fixed :Thumbsup:

    Thanks Kitty, however the fact that "it did", when it was "not suppose to" and they "don't know why", bothers me for some reason. You know that I will be shaking all four wheels, now, every time I drive the car. :D

    I'm inspecting that S*^@ now every time the tires are rotated now myself :lol:

    Yes by all means keep an eye on it. Both side actually. I doubt it will loosen again, but I'd be checking just the same.

    Shaking the wheels wont tell you if that nut is loose or not... If anyone wants to check to see if it has loosened, just see if the intent is where it is suppose to be. :Thumbsup:
