The drones invaded us this year but I don't know who was running them or where their photos/videos are. Anyone have a clue?

There are some aerial videos up on the photo sites like Killboy, Moonshine and 129Photo. Maybe they belong to them.

I'm bring my Phantom 3 Pro to this year's MOTD. Has anyone talked about Fontana's rules regarding drones? If I can fly mine, I'll share the footage.

Sid, it never hurts to give Fontana a call and see what their regulations are. Fontana IS a resort and I imagine lots of kids after MOTD inundate the place and drive everyone there as nutty with their drones as we do with our MINIs! :ihih:

Fontana has no issues with Drones at all.

I think I remember Killboy even rents them or Go Pros or whatever.

I have no problem with drones but if it comes down too low, gets to close to me, and annoys me I will take it down if I can.

Good advice for drone flyers, just fly up high and don't be a PITA.

BONUS Project: If you have a drone, please mount a paintball type gun to it and take out that annoying guy in the cherry picker with the megaphone at the ball field for group photo. :ihih::lol::devil:

I would be very upset too if my $1000+ drone came down lol...even worse if it hit a Mini!:cryin: Personally, I think it's bad form to get too close to people/property...I keep mine out of pitching distance just so it doesn't get shot down:lol:

Most drone flyers have respect and care about the drones and don't go near people's cars. I don't think you have to worry about your car getting hit.

Don't worry, Teddy...if a drone hits your car, it will give you an excuse to mod it even more!
