Noticing a fair number of Canucks here. I moved down south of the 49th almost 3 years ago, but can I hang out with you guys. That way I can post words like theatre, colour, centre, fibre, metre, and nobody will get on my case:wink5: One of the best things about living down here, besides the lack of winter, is taking folks in my Canadian edition MINI and they see the numbers on the speedo, and say " are we really going 130 ":arf: Mark
LOL Had to have my MINI's state inspection done last week, they think it has 167,000 miles on it. Not sure what they thought about it only being 17 degrees outside:arf: Mark
You can get the dealer to switch that over if you want. I had mine switched over, I don't think you can pick and choose though (temp in F but odometer in KM)
I have thought of getting things switched to imperial, but I can convert on the fly. Plus my MINI has not been in a MINI shop for over 2 years Mark
So I have decided, in my mind anyway, what I'm going to call Motoring Alliance when I speak. Not M/A, not MA.C, MA, would be OK I guess, nope non of them, I'm calling it, Motoring, EH:aureola: Mark
oh good..Canadians. Now we have someone to blame stuff on  Edit by admin - The following video is NSFW (language) [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYSYipouABI"]YouTube - South Park Uncut - Song - Blame Canada[/ame]

I've never been to Canada but have been told I sound Canadian. I do pronounce it PRO-sess, similar to how the British say it. I know a lot of people pronounce it pra-sess though so maybe that's the American way.
After almost 3 years south of the 49th, I think an A or 2 has started to slip into words that have no A in them, like fark, and harse, and it really is farty far, when you say 44 here:crazy: Shiny anyone, or ya just gonna hang out on yer chesterfield. Mark
