I was checking out Sector 111's website after the mention of the Katana Elise in the "5 Car Dream Garage" thread and found these Team Dynamic wheels which are different than the bog standard ones we are used to.

I currently have a set of 17x7 38MM and with 215/40 meats all around and a mild neg camber rear, they rub quick a bit. I'm sure with some shaving and more neg camber I would be just fine and could possibly stuff these 260 Cup rears in (17x8 38mm) Link To Wheels

Anyone have any thoughts on fitment issues? The wheels are pretty darn nice looking - and forged compared to what I believe the standard ones are cast.

Sector 111 is also known in the MINI and Solstice/Sky world as Kappasphere. They have an R56 so it may behoove a call to see if they have tried to fit them.

AH! Didn't know this! I love their Malibu canyon videos - that Toyota motor sounds bonkers with the bigger blower. I wanted my mini to sound like that... but fail entailed :)

The rear wheels from the Elise/Exige will fit on the MINI, however plan on modifying your wheel arches to clear the tires. :D The wheel dimensions for the sport package Elise or base Exige [the double-7 spoke forged ones] are 17x7.5 et38. I'm not sure S111 will sell you a set with 2 pair of rears, but you can ask!

Basically what I figured. 215/40 would probably be a good choice for a street MINI with 225 for the track with the arches WELL modified HA HA HA. My setup pretty much tore all the plastic off on their own, still rubs with big bumps though. Some time will wear it down nicely HA HA HA.
