Don't resist come out and play
Chuck,
It would be good to see you and the Cabrio having some laps at HPR.
Cost is good, day is good. If nothing else, you can come out and take a few laps with me.
I have two helmets. :cornut:

Still room for more entries in this event and they are taking late registrations. :cornut:
Anyone going to drive out from the east or south?
I know a 1 day lapping day and a 2 day drive might be a bit foolish.

Bump for effect/affect, I really don't know which is correct anymore.

We have a number of MINIs coming out for the lapping day, looks like 4 asked to be in the novice group and the rest of us will be up with the fast folks.
I did ask not to put the MINIs in with the bump and grind Miatas....
Come out if you have time, bring a chair and something cool to drink. Looking at mid 80s and high clouds.

Good times, pictures later. Lots of folks on track in their MINIs.
We had a good spectator turnout too from the MINI5280 club.

Yes, me too. Even with an almost flat, so I packed it up.
Only had to put two of my Challenge wheels/tires on the front. It sure looks funky with 2 silver 17s in front and 2 black 16s in back.
I will get the others on this afternoon, then find out what killed my right front. :mad2:
Here is a link to some pictures of the day, not all by me since I was out lapping, loaned out my camera. :ihih:
PICS.

Anyone have any in car vids to post?
Did the Evora run?
I've been thinking very hard about one of those, the Elise/Exige don't suit me due to the nature of the car, but the Evora could do the job just fine! -

The dealer had their Evora on track, beautiful Lotus. They were giving fast and extreme demo laps to anyone/everyone.
On of the organizers had his Evora on track, I think his son was driving it when he was not driving the Mallock Sports racer.
He was learning the track in the Evora, tough life.
I know my video died, so nothing from me, one of the guys was shooting video with his pocket cam HD, so perhaps he got some clips.
