    I didn't say it was a bad idea. A good starting place for some wheel flares, the clearencing has already been done, no calculating needed.

    NICE!!!! Will probably just let the slotted fender rust as well. I forget what they call that rusted on purpose look.....:crazy:

    Pretty common method for wheel clearancing when wheel arches or fender work is intended...both in the stance "thing" and in racing circles. Making pie cuts and folding out the arches radiuses the fender while allowing a structure for the wide flares. Take a peak under any BMW 2002 running the infamous turbo flares, or any Miata running a flare kit and I'm sure you'll see something similar.

    My clubman has that metal removed and cut away for clearance. No honda or fart can in my driveway though...
