LXM is a joke! I was on there for less than a day before I messaged Donnie Bram-hammer, asking for him to ban me! [emoji12]

The people of that FB group are more concerned with how their shoes clash with the metallic neon green car eyelashes than MINIs! If somebody actually posts a legit question about a part or a problem, they get shut down with BS, or get horribly misdirected by people who know nothing yet think they know everything!

Congratulations Donald, you have created the new NAM... Its a totally worthless group, unless you want to laugh at bruised fruit.

 

That would support the crap content and $hitty spelling!

I replied to the guy's post like " I hope that's the air conditioning filter not the engine one...." He answered "Nope. It the engine one". I don't get it. Even if you take your car to jiffy lube they will inspect and replace the air filter. I wonder when this person last had their oil changed? That's the kind of person who gives our cars a bad name. He'll be complaining about his failed engine at 70k miles and blaming the car.

I am not sure why he thinks he should get free parts, I would rather give stuff to Chris Knox or Ian Rae, people that at the least would appreciate it.

After the way hes treated some of the people I don't particularly want to deal with him.
It feels too much like a high school train wreck of epic proportions. Its amazing how a little bit of recognition will go to someones head.
Its sad because he has the real ability to be a positive change in the community but refuses to do it to suit himself.
Its not like its cost him any money to "build" LXM and he expects free ****....

 

Got a cat named Gracie we could rename Bill for a day. She has a potty box that would be full of billcrap. As a matter of fact, she just jumped up on the desk and started purring. I think she likes the idea.

It's ok, there are some good people on there, LXM is more the headlight eyelash crowd, modified mini's not as much. LXM has banned virtually everyone who knows anything about MINIs or disagrees with Bram, which happens to be mutually inclusive.


Sometimes it gets heated on modified minis, but hopefully sanity will continue to prevail there.
