I'll just stick with question 3 Was honest about my thoughts of someone else trying to horn in on my MINI Megalomania.
Answers: #1- be thankful you have to ask that. Do NOT seek out the answer by joining those groups. Though good for a laugh (in a "monkey wearing a train conductor uniform" kinda way) you will feel your blood pressure spike repeatedly from the stupidity that flows over there. #2- the Lord Marshall of the LXMmings. #3- Nathan has addressed already. #4- you shouldn't really, it's just interweb forum gibberish that really doesn't mean a damn thing. #5- Because our former entertainment factor is no longer with us... and this almost feels like old times.
LXM has mysteriously dropped off my FBook Groups ...wonder if it because I posted here or a technical difficulty...
You can't possibly be upset by that fact, Joe...... you should be thankful they have vanished from your life.
At my age my minutes have become a precious commodity....I'm not burning any of them up on Brampoleon's LXM.
It seems to have disappeared from my list of groups too. Oh well. I unfollowed lxm months ago, but would check in to see the latest stick on car eyelashes. I also recently unfollowed a similarly annoying group called "modified mini coopers" or something of that nature. I couldn't stand to see another heated discussion about adding a "stage 2" turbo kit to an otherwise stock R50. If you coldn't afford an S mini, you probably can't afford to bolt a turbo to your stock base cooper anyway.
It's ok, there are some good people on there, LXM is more the headlight eyelash crowd, modified mini's not as much. LXM has banned virtually everyone who knows anything about MINIs or disagrees with Bram, which happens to be mutually inclusive. Sometimes it gets heated on modified minis, but hopefully sanity will continue to prevail there.
Yep, just saw that Barry was added. I said goodbye to that Group too. These butt holes follow me around. I need to remember that MA and RMW are my only outlets.
What are you guys doing on facebook MINI sites! You all know Motoring Alliance is the only MINI site you'll ever need! Sheesh!
Occasionally there's somebody who actually needs legitimate help on MMC and they aren't on the forums... That's the only reason I'm there.
