Superman wears his underwear on the outside of his tights.

    It's still weird.

Yeah, but looking at other M/A apparel pricing, I'd say the club would be looking at at least $35 for an M/A t-shirt.

I did. It looks like a derby. Kind of like the picture above...I don't see that having universal appeal, again, just my 2 cents.

British Driving Caps Men - Bing Images

I didn't suggest it was beanie cap btw, I suggesting a beanie cap with a short brim as a possiblity, I love those type of ballcaps with the shorter rather than the full length duckbills.

How about an MA 10-gallon cowboy hat? We can all go with the Austin Dillon look.

You could put Angelina Joline in it, it'd still be ugly...:cornut:

Like I said, I don't think it by itself would be a big seller, but it's up to Nate, but if you go that route I'd definitely hold off ordering those until you got a bunch of preorders, otherwise I predict a very steep discount on the MA swag shop in the near future.... On the other hand, if it's a hat thing, then maybe a ballcap and that monstrosity could be done in the same run, that would be "safer".

I was hoping for a bottle opener next, something that would get A LOT of use, but that's just me.

I did not say you said it was a beanie cap. A beanie cap has a button on top like a short-brimmed baseball cap. A driving cap has a snap button on the forward fold of the cap, to hold it down [and on] while driving at speed. I DID say to research what a driving cap is, and you did just that. Plus, Nathan posted a pic of a REAL driving cap on the head of a REAL driver. It's ok...I can be happy with daring to imitate Mr. Stewart...at least in apparel choice. :cornut:

There is more than one type of beanie cap, not just the propeller one, nor does it necessarily have a ball or button on top....No offense, but google it like you asked me.

We'll just have to agree to disagree, I'd buy a T-Shirt, a ball cap, a short brimmed ball cap, a beanie hat for the fall, but I never was really a fan of Jackie Stewart and really have no desire to look like him.

Nah...wayyyyy to common. I was thinking more of an authentic M/A-inscribed backpack...you know the kind that has the mouth tube on top so you can swill while ya walk. Annnnd, ya never have to worry about discarding empty beer cans and getting fined for littering the environment.

Maybe it shouldn't be apparel, what about some type of travel mug/water bottle?

That's not a bad idea (you could actually design a cup that fits in the lilliputian MINI cup holder); on the other hand, I think that could be combined with the swag too. I still want my T-Shirt, and I'm tired of arguing hat semantics!

Why not sell them together as a combo deal? They kind of go together, and it would make it easier to blend in at any Wal-mart below the Mason-Dixon line, or downtown San Francisco.

I'll donate $5 to the vinyl stripe fund for the first MA.com member to sport this hat and stripe their MINI to match!
