So, we agree to disagree on our apparel choices. This is what it is all about, anyway, at least to me...meaningful intercourse [that means "discussion" to those of you out of the closet, wrongly worn thong wearers]. I am sure that Nathan would rather have some sensible discussions about apparel and not some ye-haw crap about man [?] thongs and how they should be worn.

For you and, it's a t-shirt or a ballcap. T-shirts and ballcaps are soooooo common, though...EVERYONE wears them. Me? I would much rather do the driving cap thing, because no one else has ever offered them at MOTD and because they represent British sports car drivers, and THAT is where the Mini/MINI was born.

My LAST 2c on the hat topic.

I wonder what would sell better, the flat cap or the mankini.

I'm working up some ideas, but please, do keep the discussion going.

Why not sell them together as a combo deal? They kind of go together, and it would make it easier to blend in at any Wal-mart below the Mason-Dixon line, or downtown San Francisco.

I'll donate $5 to the vinyl stripe fund for the first MA.com member to sport this hat and stripe their MINI to match!

Works for me! I'm a cigar-smoking Silverback and am PROUD of it! Even if M/A decides not to offer a driving cap, then I'll find one I like and wear it, anyway.

If we end up going ultra-conservative with that driving hat thing (or whatever you chose to call it), how 'bout a Motoring Alliance do-rag, for those days I want to go gangsta.

"MA" on the front, "Motor On" on the back, that would be the schizznet...although a T-shirt with that would be even better, just sayin'.....

I like the cap idea, I am too old for a ball cap.
Other choice would be socks that i can wear with my sandals :)

I believe the model you're looking for is the Laurel Edition. Nice looking option.

Did you know in the UK they had a grey scale version of that stripe. Dark silver and charcoal. Basically a non color version of the Laurel. I've never seen one, but we did get one of the stripes by mistake while ordering a set of Laurel stripes.
