Sorry the website is blah, been busy with twin babies.
Oh yeah, no banquet this year due to lack of interest from attendees.
Also, the hotel is sold out.

 

is AMVIV registration open?

Yes, AMVIV registration is open. It opened on 12/31, then closed for 4 days due to some PayPal issues and has reopened.

Banquet is off this year, as we lost over $7k on it last year due to poor attendance. Didn't meet the minimum sales, lost the "comped room rental". Changed AMVIV from an event that earned about 2 grand into one that lost over 5 grand. Can't keep doing that.

Currently, White Roof Radio is renting the nightclubby venue at Aliante on Saturday night for a big party. Don't know all the details yet, but will pass them along when I find out.

 

Gotta work Monday-Thursday, driving up from SoCal on Friday. Missed getting a room at the Alliante Station, staying at the Santa Fe Station hotel 6 miles away, anybody else staying there?

Starting time from Corona is open. Planning to do lunch at Mad Greek in Baker on the way. Let me see if any other SCMM'ers are going on Friday.

 

I'm going up Friday as well. CFMini...post your start time in Corona and I'll try to join up as you pass thru Fontana.

 

I'll be there. I was still working on my roadtrip itinerary last night. AMVIV will be right smack in the middle of that trip. I will be driving to Las Vegas from Phoenix AZ via Rt 66.

 

I am considering going. Relatively new MINI owner, 10/25/09, never been. Obviously can't stay at the host location, if I want to leave the car area with my car, is it a big pain? Not to sound to stupid, but is it just drive in and drive out?

 

Yeah it should be easy. It is in a parking garage.

 

No problem at all. There are hundreds of MINIs coming and going all the time for the runs, track day, excursions and just to see Vegas. Come on down!

 

Okay, I am convinced, Palazzo here I come. See you all there, probably going to drive up Thursday evening, maybe try and head home Saturday evening or super early Sunday as I hear it can be a biotch for traffic back to La La land.

 

Clean out your garage and bring your unwanted MINI items to AMVIV. With over 400 MINIs in attendance and over 1.000 attendees, there may not be a better place to sell it for cash. Kelli and I have a reserved booth there and can sell anything big or small that you want to get rid of on consignment. I will display and sell your item while you attend runs and have fun. So let me do the work for you and you'll make some extra cash to help pay for the trip or play with in Las Vegas. At REDRUM MINI Promotions we will be doing a lot of other fun and interesting activities that will make it a great place to hang out.
