Hey folks. Thanks to Kelly Girl, I'll be attending AMVIV this year... from Thursday to Sunday!

Got my room and everything!

 

Oh hell no, she was supposed to share her room with me :devil:

 

apparently i have the magic touch for getting rooms when the hotel website touts "sold out" I'll let you all in on the secret.

Go to A MINI Vacation In Vegas Home and scroll down to the block of text that is "crossed out"

the 'make your reservation here' link to the Aliante Station reservations for amviv is still active.

when taken to the link for the aliante reservations, all you do is select March 25 as the check in day, select a 3 night stay.. and VOILA you can secure a room, if there's a room reservation available...


and according to my source there have been a few room cancellations this week...at last glance there was a delux KING room available.

So I'm in the shop today and thanks to the Wilwood boys who dropped off a Suburban load full of parts to me last night...I'm up to my eyeballs in Wilwood kits and TCE built kits to box up for AMVIV!

I think this years theme is value. I'm doing my best to cut back on some of the former higher cost kits and concentrate on the more lower end cost market. But don't despair; there's still something for everyone~!

Right now we have on the menu:
1- 11.75" custom race kit
4- 12.2" kits of various flavors
5- 13" kits of various flavors
1- R56 caliper kit
2- 11.75 rear rotor kits
1- 11.75 combo caliper rear kit​

Not to mention the usual deals on pads, fluid and hose kits. Yup, this one's going to be packed with great deals. A couple of them borderline stupid!

You could always race down the parking garage on skates. I'll bring a stop watch.

 

why would i wanna do that?
derby is a contact sport..

if we race down the garage the only contact would involve the pavement....

Okay...tonight, I will go home, toss all my stuff in my car and start my trek to AMVIV making lots of pitstops along the way. Because motoring folk always take the long twisty way there, that's what I'm going to do. See you all there next Thursday. Hopefully, the CoffeeCrisp bars will not have melted yet.
