That exhaust does sound like that "now". It's a newly designed exhaust, on a new engine.
There's really nothing "classic MG" about that exhaust... Except that we say things like "that's how we remember MG rally cars sounding, sort of" -

Good for you. Are you running a pair of SU's as God & Abington intended or a nice pair of DCOE's? I've seen more than a few of those later emission MGB's burned to a crisp.
