    Why can't exhaust systems sound like this now. It's not too quite, it's not too loud and has just the right tone.

    That exhaust does sound like that "now". It's a newly designed exhaust, on a new engine.
    There's really nothing "classic MG" about that exhaust... Except that we say things like "that's how we remember MG rally cars sounding, sort of"

    As long as you no longer have that leaky Solex dripping gas on the cat converter you should be fine. If you still do, wear your nomex. :wink:

    Good for you. Are you running a pair of SU's as God & Abington intended or a nice pair of DCOE's? I've seen more than a few of those later emission MGB's burned to a crisp.
