Sweet Carrot just recently opened....

Made the galvanized facia that runs around the roof edge...
The owner didn't want a shiny finish, so I showed her some samples with copper sulfate applied.... Instant old...





My bike stands out front...



Did the counter tops and round tables...
And the drooping carrot light fixture above the cash register...

 

If you have ever been to any the Graeter's ice cream shops.....

Well.... You've touched me...

I make the custom door pulls for their entrance doors.....

These will be shipping out today to one of their new locations.....

 

Made a gauge panel today for a car dude.....

Got a few customer pictures sent to me yesterday on some counter tops made back in late June....

This fellow had an old barn on his property and wanted to make it into a place to have parties for the holidays....

 

Made the steel structure that separates the kitchen staff from the main portion of the restaurant... The glass panels allow the customers to watch the chef working...

A whole lotta change has taken place as the GC nears completion.... The cleanup crew has hit the place, a little bit of paint and electrical work needs to be done and art hung... I ended up providing all of the custom metal work....

They liked my work and want my involvement at two new locations... One will be here locally and the second location will be near Cincinnati... I'm having a real busy year....

Orrrrrr.... Another way to look at it...:idea:

If it fails, the customer is not satisfied and feels ripped off... Not good:frown2:

If you make it so it doesn't fail in a hundret yars, the customer is super happy and will tell others.... Very good...:OK

Word will get around eventually..... Good or Bad.....:devil:

 

Sooooo.... I'm working with a local restaurant owner that I've done a number of jobs for in the past....

Came up with this today.... He wanted something special for a door pull on the entrance doors for his place... Made the pull out of 2" x 1/2" steel bar stock....Went and bought 50' of #6 copper grounding wire at Lowe's...

Thought it might be interesting to wrap the door pull... Copper has natural properties that kill germs on contact... I'm thinking that's probably a good idea for a restaurant....

 

Just finished this up today...
We added steel cladding to a wooden hood with mild steel, strapping and rivets.... Gotta have lots of rivets..
The inside gets a stock SS hood filter/light/fan unit...
It gets installed in the clients home in the next couple of days... Once hung, a contract artist will apply a faux finish to look like aged zinc...

 

Made some SS house numbers today for a client down in Florida.... The "7" is 1/4" thick and 36" tall.... All of the letters are 12" tall (well except for the f)... They will drill some holes in the building and set the rods in place with epoxy at a point where they will look like they float 2-1/2" off the face of the building...

 

Here's the hood finally installed in the clients home...

Just landed a very nice contract going to Turkey...

 

We are constantly fighting the war on thirst...
Slowly but surely we win the battle one opportunity at a time...
We crank out these soldiers for most of the local distribution companies....:beer

 

Another Happy Customer...

Produced another SS counter-top with a welded in sink...
The customer was very excited when they stopped in for their approval...
It will be installed tomorrow....

 

It's the new F56..... No dip stiche.....

 

My most recent restaurant job had their grand opening this past week..
I always send a flower arrangement as a thank you...
They got theirs today...
Hint: Flowers make girls happy....
