Thanks Dick.... I agree, needs your painting skills...
Actually what will be done to the galvanized surfaces (shiney silver parts) will be to apply a water solution of copper sulfate.... For you that don't know, this is commonly used as a sewer line root killer.... It will add an aged patina look... Lowe's sells it... Something like 90% copper sulfate...

Nope.... I helped the customer with the process and how it's done, but I don't allow chemical treatment in my shop... That's a whole nother can of worms... -

While you're at it, I would hit the bare steel with salt water, then after it gets nice and crusty, give it a wipe with some muriatic acid... [emoji2]

Made a bunch of "X" table base legs out of 6" I-beams for the new Northstar Cafe that's opening down in Liberty Ohio (by Cincinnati)...
